This page explains how Sportwire Pro content is planned, written, checked and maintained. Our articles are published under the pen name Cole Ramsey, which represents a small independent editorial team.

Topic selection

We choose topics that help readers understand boxing, MMA and kickboxing: rules, scoring, weight classes, how competitions and organizations work, history, and technique and gear basics. We prioritize evergreen subjects that stay useful over time and avoid speculation, rumors, fight predictions and betting content.

Research and fact-checking

Every article is fact-checked before publication. We verify rules, dates, records, title histories and other factual claims against primary or reputable sources, such as official rulebooks, athletic commission and sanctioning body documents, promotion websites, established reference works and respected sports outlets. Where sources disagree, for example on historical fight records, we say so. When a fact depends on time, we state the date it applies to. If we cannot verify a claim, we leave it out.

Sources

Each article ends with a list of the sources we consulted, linked so readers can check them. We do not invent quotes, statistics or personal experiences.

Use of AI tools
